Wal-mart is adding HomeKit to its lineup of devices to its HomeKit suite of smart home products.
The company says the package will start at $499, or $150 a month for two devices.
It’s not clear if that includes the home’s main features, such as temperature, humidity, and the ability to set a “comfort level” for you.
That’s a big change from what the HomeKit standard has offered before.
The standard currently offers a $199 device for a single-room home with two other devices.
The HomeKit price is just one part of a wider $1.9 billion expansion of its smart home offerings, which include a new app, smart locks, smart thermonuclear ovens, smart air conditioners, and more.
