Obama administration says $1.3 billion gas-wall heater is ready to go

The White House announced Tuesday that it has purchased nearly $1 billion in new gas-filling equipment for the White House’s new gas wall.

The $1,000-a-month heater, which the administration says is the most sophisticated on the market, has been installed in the White Houses basement for more than a year.

The gas wall is part of a $6 billion infrastructure package, which includes more than $2 billion for the Army Corps of Engineers’ new “Project Blackstone” to build more than 1,000 miles of pipeline across the West Coast.
